Hi there welcome back to my easter cardmaking classes. At today's class the kids were taught masking and backgrounds using multiple small stamps.
Dom Chose to use Inkadinkado coastal stamps while Lee M chose florals by Alte New. An oval shape was cut out of copying paper using mft die-namics stitched dies and adhered to the front of the card. Then with the choice of 3 stamps and 3 dye inks the background of the stamp was made as they stamped on 3 sides.
I then guided them to use the 3 different stamps to fill in any gaps in the background making sure not to repeat the designs right next to each other. After removing the oval shaped mask, the background was masked over and the inner piece coloured using distress inks. Using white embossing powder the text was stamped and embossed.
