Its the February and at Sweet Cherry Cards and we have an exciting card waiting for you. The image we are using for this month's card is by buddlycrafts and its called "Sleepy Birds".....aren't they adorable?
For most if not all cards I like to get the image coloured first. So using copic markers, I coloured the 'sleepy birds' and then using a die cut circle as a stencil I drew a circle around the birds and coloured it in pink and purple and added snow and star effects.
Next using a larger circular die, I cut out the window which would hide the image and message.
The next step was to stamp a message on the outside of the hidden window with Penny Black " Christmas Wishes Stamp"
Using a pink brad I attached the circular window to the background of the card with the image to be hidden. Here is the card again.
