Sticker Monday Part 2 at Stamplorations with Renee

Hi there and welcome back to Sweet Cherry Cards. I am always excited to be guest designing for Stamplorations as they have susch awesome products and the team led by Shery and her husband are fantastic. For part 2 of July's Sticker Monday with Renee, I have some glamorous cards for you.... Yesss... Yes...you can add glitz and colour to black and white clear stickers especially the ones at Stamplorations which include images. So what are you waiting on....take a look below....

For all three cards,  the stickers are the showpieces and the main focus of the cards. See how much colour was added to the stickers? I used copic markers and glitter glue to enhance all of the stickers I also used coloured cardstock to further embellish the sticker on the yellow card.

Before I removed the stickers from their backing, I coloured them up using several copic markers and then added glitter glue. Here is card #1

With this card, I coloured not only the image of the cake but also the special effect with the extra dashes which I used to convey the idea of a glowing golden cake. Before adding the glitter, I gave the copics a few mins to dry so it wouldn't smudge and then added the glitter glue. It took about 20-30 mins to dry and then I matted it on white cardstock.  The oval blue and white striped background was in my stash and I thought it complemented the sticker rather well.

For card #2, I not only coloured the drink but also the words...then I adhered the coloured sticker to yellow cardstock and matted it on black cardstock as well.....now isn't that cool?....I decided ths would look great as the topper for a gatefold card.

Here is card #3 and you can see how much glam is added to the sticker as you compare it with the other two black and white ones. Again the sickers were coloured and using the main colour red, I matted it on red and white paper. By adding the black and white stickers to each side of the card, you can see how it made the coloured sticker stand out!.

Hope you enjoyed this week's feature cards. Remember to leave a comment on the Stamplorations blog and here on my blog for your chance to win a $15 gift card. So until next month, here are a list of main materials used.
