Day -3 Coffee-loving Card-makers Blog Hop Fall/Winter 2021

 Welcome back.....

For Day 3 of coffee loving card makers blog hop , I have something different to share...This time I am using a design inspired by my sister who died many years ago...( I learnt cardmaking and colouring from her) called 'A Caribbean Cup' with the Polkadot Orchard sentiment from the digital set 'Soul Coffee'... what a groovy name!

This lovely easel card is great for someone who feels overwhelmed by life's challenges. It reminds you to take things slowly and while doing so... have a cup of coffee...or cocoa if you prefer...

Have you noticed the tropical touches to the image?......that's because I am from the Caribbean so it is a nod to my roots. The design includes a coconut tree and my country's colours...(can you guess what they are?) Stencilled hibiscus flowers also appear on the edges...

The image was coloured using copic markers and prismacolor pencils. A little glitter and rhinestones compliment this card beautifully. Hope you enjoy this and please check out all the other designs on the bloghop.

Materials used:

Hibiscus Stencil

Ranger's Distress Ink- Antique Linen, Carved pumpkin

Prismacolor pencil- Sepia

Copic Markers- B00, B000, B02, R46, R35, E13, W02, YG17, YG03
